Patch Workspace
We collaborated with Patch to transform a historic library in High Wycombe into a new local centre for work, culture, and community. The design approach celebrates the building’s civic history and High Wycombe’s past as the centre of traditional furniture making in the UK.
The project budget necessitated a series of careful interventions rather than a complete overhaul. The ground floor now houses an independent café and community space, a bookshop, a public meeting room, and a top-lit co-working studio that also doubles as an event space, while the first floor contains offices for small businesses.
