For London Craft Week 2025 we hosted Masters & Makers, an exhibition exploring authorship, transformation and craft in contemporary design.

The exhibition brought together a collection of furniture and lighting by celebrated 20th century designers, each piece once broken or worn by time. We invited a group of makers to look beyond restoration and respond to the objects with creative freedom.

What emerged was a study in the interplay between preservation and reinvention, asking us to look again at the line between designer and maker, whilst making a case for the imperfect, the altered, the continued life of things.
